this site provides you with free releases by various artists working in the more experimental field of sound and music. i'll try and continue this project as an alternative to countless idm/glitch/laptop-sounds-oriented online releases. instead, i'll be looking for audio material that you may not find anywhere else: audio material that is original, experimental, uncommercial, and even weird – and that might expire mental if it doesn't get heard.

releases are published on an irregular basis, so visit this site from time to time to see what is going on. at the moment, expiremental is handcoded html – no feeds, no pings, no comments. if you get on the mailing list, you’ll be the first to know about new releases. and your adress won’t be passed to anyone else …
